What are the differences then between systems?

Here are some common points for consideration when considering the right system for you.

  • Colour:

    Standard colors are available at no extra cost, making them a cost-effective choice for your project. However, aluminium systems can also be customized in any RAL color of your choice, including dual color options—allowing you to select one color for the interior and a different one for the exterior. If you opt for a non-standard or dual-color system, please be aware that there will be a paint setup surcharge, and lead times will be longer compared to standard colors. The system profile for standard colors is typically in stock, which can help expedite the manufacturing process if your project requires a quicker turnaround.

  • Thermal Efficiency:


    In the UAE, the required U-value for window and door systems is 1.8W/m²K or greater. Different systems will offer varying U-values, which measure the thermal effectiveness of the system. A lower U-value indicates better insulation and energy efficiency, helping to maintain a comfortable indoor temperature while reducing energy consumption. Essentially, the U-value reflects how well a window or door retains heat, with lower values representing better performance in terms of heat retention. When selecting a system, it's important to consider the U-value to ensure optimal energy efficiency, comfort, and compliance with local regulations.

  • Why are they different across different systems?

    Most of the thermal efficiency in any window or door system comes from the glazing, which typically constitutes around 80% of the overall area. In today’s market, there are several glass options to consider, each offering unique benefits. All of our window systems come standard with Low Emission (Low E) glass, which has a coating on the inner pane designed to reflect escaping heat back into the property, improving insulation and energy efficiency. Additional glazing options include Laminated Security Glass, Solar Glazing, and Privacy Glass. During our consultation service, we can help you evaluate the benefits of these upgrades based on the specific needs of your project. For example, laminated security glass is ideal for more vulnerable locations prone to intruder attack, solar glazing is beneficial for south-facing windows exposed to intense summer sunlight, and privacy glass is perfect for bathrooms or WC areas requiring complete privacy.

  • Profile Dimensions:

    Each of our Window systems will have a unique set of profile dimensions and shape. Some profiles shapes are more square and contemporary while others have beveled profiles. Dimensions will also vary, ranging from one end of the spectrum to the other. You will be able to view these first hand across our range of working samples during your initial consultation.
